Jackhammer MAXX™ addresses physical, chemical and biological aspects of compaction. Physical:  In heavy clay soils, Jackhammer MAXX™ breaks down clay by promoting soil crumbling and increasing microbial activity, (tunneling in the soil). This improves nutrient and water penetration, increasing uptake by the plant, providing better root and vegetative growth. On sandy soils, Jackhammer MAXX™ adds humus, which improves nutrient and water retention. Chemical:  The natural mineral ingredient in Jackhammer MAXX™ improves chelation of bound nutrients in the soil increasing availability to the plant and improving processing efficiency. Biological: Jackhammer MAXX™ increases growth and populations of soil microorganisms.  It also accelerates plant cell division and promotes growth.  Increases seed germination and viability. In addition, it improves root formation and respiration.
