Organic Plant Health’s Urban Tree Care™ 1-3-2 is an ALL-PURPOSE granular fertilizer formulated to improve the health of the soil and provide appropriate, slow release fertility for majestic trees and some larger ornamental trees. This product incorporates living microorganisms to increase microbial population in the soil. It also contains premium microbial food sources to increase soil activity and vitality, which promotes a more complete and balanced soil food web.

A healthy soil food web increases porosity in the soil and promotes greater air, water and nutrient penetration. This increased porosity allows for more efficient nutrient uptake by the plant. Additionally, Endo and Ecto Mycorrhizal fungi are included to create a symbiotic relationship with the plant root. This increases the area from which the plant absorbs water and nutrients throughout the soil profile. Urban Tree Care™ also contains certain plant extracts that promote cell division and plant growth regulation for healthy root development and plant growth.

Also included are naturally occurring beneficial bacteria and fungi that increase drought resistance and soil biology as well as aid in the suppression of soil borne fungus and disease.
